Hello Sweetie embossed card

Hi Crafters!
It's Kimberly from hellocutiecrafts here.
This week Joy asked the team to make a project with a new technique we have wanted to try out. I decided to try my hand at double embossing.
I made a card using Yummy Puns set.

I'm always in need of Masculine cards for my hubby.
The "Hello Sweetie" come from Joy's Yummy Puns stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is enjoying the Awesome projects with the new stuff on the blog this week.

For all the details stop by my blog.

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you Cards

Hi there! Staci from Precious Memories here.
This week we were asked to try a new technique.
So I thought hmmmm, I bought a heat emboss gun and some clear embossing powder a while back and never got to try it... so this was my opportunity.  I also did a pen stitching (not new to me and probably not to anyone else either LOL, but I thought I would throw it in there since I did 2 cards. These were Pinterest inspired (Gosh I could get lost on that site for hours)

I only had clear embossing ink and powder so I thought it would be perfect on snowflakes... kinda hard to see but they are glossy, see
I apologize in advance for the blurry shot of the bottom stamp, but I think it's because I embossed that too.
Thanks for visiting!

Felt Cat Card

Hi, everyone!  It's Patty here from the Crafty Kitten.
I'm getting in on the fun this week with Joy's Design Team.  If you have been following the past few days, we've been using techniques that are new to us, and maybe, you as well.

I've got a small collection of metal dies because I don't consider them too cost effective since you can't change their size.  In the past, I'd only been using them with paper.  My LSS started carrying 100% wool felt so I had to pick some up. Well, needless to say....I am HOOKED!

Here's what I made with that great material and Joy's wonderful stamps!

This stamp came from Joy's Lots Of Pun set.  I made a few of these cards because this sentiment can be used for a birthday, congratulations, or a thank you card.

Metal dies cut 100% wool felt like butter!   I really like the texture and look of the felt.  I think it adds a nice touch to the card.

If you have felt and some dies, I hope you'll break them out and experiment.  Add Joy's stamps to the mix and you've got yourself one really neat project!

Swirled background paper card

I was playing around with my mists and decided to create some background paper. I used glossy cardstock wet it and then shook off the excess water. Then I sprayed some mists and added a few concentrated drops of the mist from the mister stick, before laying a piece of transparency over top. Once the transparency is down, you can push the colors around with your fingers to create the look you want. Then remove the transparency and let dry.

I used the happy and Birthday stamps from the Everyday Occasions set.

CAS card using Washi Tape

Hello everyone this is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps!
This week we are creating projects using a new technique that we have been wanting to try. Last month the design team showcased different techniques and that's where I saw my DT sister Patty from Crafty Kitten, use washi tape to cover a die cut. I have joined the washi tape craze and was eager to try this!
I decided to go with a C-A-S look because I wanted the focus to be on the hearts and the sentiment.
Like she mentioned, it's better if you use a white piece of cardstock for the die cut because the washi tape is semi-transparent and other colors take away from the washi tape pattern.
The sentiment is from Wintery Puns, isn't it so versatile!?
