I found a plain little wooden coffin box and that makes spooky sounds when the lid is opened, so I decided to alter it and make it pretty. Well, as pretty as a spooky coffin can get I suppose lol!

For the Oct. 31, I used a stamp from the Halloween Puns Joy's Life stamp set:

I used the fun Halloween Puns set!

I could resist using the "Eye Love You" sentiment along with these yummy eyeball candies!  

Chocolate and peanut butter...my favorite!!

Well I didn't mean to have a purple ghost, but I dropped him in purple ink and as the saying goes...There are no mistakes in crafting...only room for embellishments!! So now I have a purple ghost! :) And of course outlined in Purple Stickles! :)

When I seen this adorable Ghost from My Scrap Chick, I knew it would be the perfect treat container to make to go along with the "Boo" sentiment!!

I added a little shimmer to his bow!

So fun!!

EYE love you - Purple Monster Bags

Hi Crafters! Maria here from Five Simple Things.

This week the team is sharing a bit of 

Halloween fun with you.

These bags could really be for any time of the year

but are especially cute for Halloween.

I always enjoy adding a bit of fun to the dinner table 

for the little ones in attendance. 

Joy's Life stamp set (Halloween Puns),

CM circle punches for mouth, Stampin Up cardstock

These came together in no time.

I used my Cricut Craft Room software to select 

these basic shapes. I only needed two bags, 

but you could easily fill your cricut mat 

to make multiple Purple People Eaters!

Birthday Wishes!

Yesterday, I found out that it was my lunch friend and neighbor's birthday.

Only...it isn't as special as she might want it to be.

So...I made this bat card...using Joy's Life: Halloween Puns.

I love the colored bats and white sentiment against the black background.

I sprinkled some white embossing powder on the card base for some extra interest.

I know that some would stick when I embossed the "fangtastic" sentiment. 

So...I just "went with it" and added more splatter before embossing!

A crafty friend gave me a white sharpie marker....which I used for the fangs.

What a great new (to me) product! 

I can just imagine tons of uses for this opaque marker!

Sweets For The Sweet-Ombre

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week the DT is making projects using the Ombre technique. I couldn't decide whether to use paper or ink for my ombre colors but finally decided on Ink Sprays! I really liked how this turned out and will definitely be doing this more often! I used "Sweets For The Sweet" from Joy's Halloween Puns set and made a cute tag to go with some candy that I found last weekend...

I used Dylusions Ink Spray in Squeezed Orange, Pure Sunshine & Lemon Zest to create my Ombre look.... 

Then added some cute "button" embellishments, inked the edges with black and stamped my saying. Super cute, super fast & super easy! Love those kind of projects! :)

Too cute to spook - Halloween treat bag

And I used one of my favorite Halloween stamps, from Joy's Halloween Puns stamp set:

This cute little bag is from the Silhouette Online Store.  

The spider web, the banner at the bottom of the bag, and the bow on the ghost are not actually a part of the file, I added them on to make this my own creation. :)

This week we are featuring Scrapbooking Layouts!

I love taking pictures of my kids and creating scrapbook layouts of all the memories we share!

For my post today, I thought I would create a layout for my little girl's album using the Halloween Puns set!
With Halloween right around the corner, I thought it would be nice to create one of her Halloween pages ahead of time!! 

I had so much fun creating this layout, these cute little monsters work so well with the paper and sentiments!!

I first stamped the "Too cute to spook" as a border around where the picture will be placed!

My little girl is going as a "monster" this year!  We got a really cute bright pink and lime green monster costume on clearance last year that she fell in love with!!

I also used the large "Trick or Treat" sentiment from the set!

How fun!!

Creating this layout, really got me in the mood for fall!!

I made 65 of these cuties for a customer of mine! I did them in 5 different colors but of course forgot to take a pic of all of them together!

Fangtastic Coffin Treat Box

My daughter's birthday is the day before Halloween, so I couldn't wait to use this stamp. However, I couldn't find anything vampire related, until Joy asked us to create something 3D. I found the pattern for this coffin shaped treat box from Martha Stewart.

I used the Fangtastic Birthday Wishes stamp from the Halloween Puns set on the coffin lid. I stamped it with black pigment ink then embossed it with black embossing powder also.
