Down By The Creek Bank Frog Card

Hi, all!  It's Patty here from The Crafty Kitten.

 Joy came up with the super cute theme this week....Down By The Creek Bank.  I remember as a kid catching nightcrawlers with my dad and finding salamanders in the window wells.  Yes, I was a tomboy.  

Growing up, I didn't see many frogs around but I wanted to use one for my project. This one is from Cricut's Create A Critter cartridge.

Lot's Of Pun was the first stamp set that I bought from Joy! You can get yours here.

For this weeks card, I used DoodleBug's Flower Box paper set.  The card is 4.25 x 5.5 in size.  I cut the frog at 3.5" and then played around with the paper strips to figure out what size I wanted.  I stamped the saying on a strip of white paper and then cut the tab by hand.  After adding stitching, ribbon, and a plastic flower, the card was done!

Happy Fall Y'All - Stamped Candle

Hello everyone! It's Lori with got2bcrafting again. I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. :)

This week the DT was asked to create a project using the colors Orange, Green and Brown.  For some reason, I was struggling a bit trying to make something using only these colors.  I must have started at least 5 different projects before settling on the one I am sharing today.  It is actually quite simple, but I think it turned out pretty cute! 

I used the stamping on tissue paper technique to apply the Happy Fall Y'all sentiment.

Back To School Encouragement Card

As you can tell from earlier posts this week, we are focusing on Back To School projects.  (I can't believe it is August, already!)

 I wanted to create a cheerful card you could give to your child encouraging them to have a great day at school.

Cool Snail Mail!!

Hello Sunshine!! It's me Jennie from Earthy Scrap!!

How hot is it!! Well our challenge this week is to be inspired by the 

Summer colors: Yellow, Orange and Turquoise.

 I made a little Summer Project Combo to inspire you to send a little snail mail.

For my card I used the new stamp set Pun In The Sun which is available with FREE SHIPPING!! This is the set you need to make all your summer cards!! 

I also added some patterned paper to an envelope and the magic touch was the sentiments from the Lots Of Puns Set. On the bottom I used a sentiment of the new set Pun In The Sun. 

For a little extra touch I faux stitched the envelope.

I hope you enjoyed this little Summery Combo!!

Just Chillin' Layout

Hello Wild Stampers!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap.

All this week the design team will make projects using animals!!

Browsing through my pictures I found these pictures of my niece and nephew in front of an igloo they found outside of their apartment and I just had to scrap it!!

All my cuts are from the Create A Critter Cartridge.

I measured my stamps and shaped these conversations bubbles to fit them, I LOVED this!!

The "Furever Friends" Stamp is from the Lots of Puns Stamps.

"We Are the Wild Life" is from the Wild Life Puns!!

Ruff Day? Card

Hello everyone!  This is Amy, a.k.a. redheaded crafter!   Today I have a card for you using the You're So Punny stamp set...  Have I mentioned before that I love this stamp set?!?!?!  :)  Our challenge this week was to create a project with an animal on it.  I love dogs, so I knew that I had to use one!

All Occasion Cards

Hi! Patty here from The Crafty Kitten. I'm excited today because

this is the first day that I post as a DT member for Joy's Life!

Our first week's project is to do whatever we wanted to do!

I made a set of all occasion cards using Cricut's Create A Critter

cartridge and stamps from Joy's Lots Of Pun set.

Here's one card I made:

(I LOVE how you can curve clear stamps to fit around an area!)
