This week the Joy's Life DT has been Embossing their creations.

Here is a quick Halloween Themed Thank You Card

that I created featuring the "Fangs So Much" stamp

found in the Halloween Puns Stamp Set (my favorite!) :)

I heat embossed the edges of my blocks with Tim Holtz's

Distress Black Embossing Powder in Black Soot.

It's a bit hard to see as I had a little difficulty trying to get

a good shot showing the heat embossed edges,

but it goes around both blocks completely.

I really love the distressed and aged look it added to the card.

Tuned In Shaped Card

This week at the Joy's Life Design Team Blog 

we are making Shaped Cards.

I made shaped TV card using 

the Slumber Party Cricut Cartridge.

I heat embossed the sentiment that 

you can find on the Tag You're It Set One. 

The little stars I doodled them with a white pen.

Pun in the Sun card

It's Megan here, thrilled to be working with these brand new stamps! I just adore the new Pun in the Sun set! For this first project I wanted to go with something that just SCREAMED summer to me. For me, that's sitting in a chair by the beach. I adore those photos of the back of a chair under a palm tree, looking out at the water. That's the feel I was going for here.

I used the Life is a Beach cricut cartridge to cut the Bazzill cardstock into the wave card, palm trees and beach chair. I used the 'Shore do miss you' stamp from the Pun in the Sun set and heat embossed it.
