Down By The Creek Bank Frog Card

Hi, all!  It's Patty here from The Crafty Kitten.

 Joy came up with the super cute theme this week....Down By The Creek Bank.  I remember as a kid catching nightcrawlers with my dad and finding salamanders in the window wells.  Yes, I was a tomboy.  

Growing up, I didn't see many frogs around but I wanted to use one for my project. This one is from Cricut's Create A Critter cartridge.

Lot's Of Pun was the first stamp set that I bought from Joy! You can get yours here.

For this weeks card, I used DoodleBug's Flower Box paper set.  The card is 4.25 x 5.5 in size.  I cut the frog at 3.5" and then played around with the paper strips to figure out what size I wanted.  I stamped the saying on a strip of white paper and then cut the tab by hand.  After adding stitching, ribbon, and a plastic flower, the card was done!

Hoppy Birthday Disney Easel Card.

Hi, this is Jenny from Jenny's Scrapbooking Haven with today's post for Joys Life Design Team.

 This weeks the girls were asked to make projects with dimension.  

 I used to different sets of Joys Life Stamps to make up my sentiment.

Furever Friends! Disney Layout!

Good morning all my Crafty Friends!

For the whole month of March the Design Team Girls can make want ever there little heart desires!

 So want better time to catch up up on my pictures from 2011 and work  on my Disney Album.

love always - glassine bags

Hello everyone!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps! This week we are making projects using new products or supplies that we have had in our stash collecting dust lol   

 My sister is planning on giving Hello Kitty pens and lead pencils to her friends for Valentine's Day and asked for help creating packaging for them. I thought this was the perfect time to use these tiny glassine bags I got a LONG time ago and had yet to use them. 

I made two bags to show you how easy it is to decorate them with Joy's stamps. 

I stamped onto the bag on the left directly. The "love always" and heart stamp on the left bag are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set.  

This picture below is also of the bag I stamped directly on, I just added a white piece of paper inside to make the stamp stand out more. 

For the second bag, I stamped everything onto a white piece of paper and then glued it to the bag. "love always" and the heart with flourish are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set. The heart in the center surrounded by hearts is from Joy's Life Lots of Pun stamp set.

Kitty Cat Swatch Tag Book

Hello!  It's Patty here with another post from the Crafty Kitten.  As you can tell from earlier DT posts this week, we are all doing our version of a Swatch Book.

  I remember when I was a little girl, my dad installed Formica counter tops.  He had samples of all the colors available and they were bound with a key chain. Looking back, I realized that those were Swatch Books! 

Since I have a house full of kitties, I decided I'd make a cat themed one. 

The stamp I used on the cover is from Joy's Halloween Puns Set!

 

Here's where I'll journal about my cat, Panzer.  This stamp is from Joy's Lots Of Puns set.

 This next page features a picture of Panzer with a stamp from Joy's new Pun In The Sun set. It's perfect for him because he is the sweetest cat EVER! 

 This page with my husband, Don, features a fun stamp from Joy's Sweet Popsicle Puns set and the paw print comes from Lots Of Pun.

This was a lot of fun and is inspiring me to make  journaling cards in the hopes of getting back into scrap booking.  I hope you'll try this someday!

Hello Kitty using Cri-Kits!

Hello, crafters!  It's Patty here with my first Cri-Kit project for you!   

As you can tell from earlier posts this week, Joy's Life has teamed up with Cri-Kits and I can tell you, these markers are so fun to use!  

I immediately knew that I wanted to draw Hello Kitty and use her on a card. 

This lovely saying is from Joy's Lots of Pun stamp set.  Grab yours here!

 

I used Cri-Kits Regular & Neon set to draw Hello Kitty.  

 

They carry pen holders that work with Cricut, Pazzles, Silhouette, and Eclips!

A Whale of a Good Time! Cricut card

Hello everyone, it's Lori with got2bcrafting!!

This week we are creating projects inspired by the colors of summer... turquoise, orange and yellow.

I decided to use one of my "go-to" stamp sets Lots of Pun .  This is an older set, but still one of my all time favorites!

Suitcase Scrapbook

Hello, everyone! This is Patty from the Crafty Kitten.

Bear Hug Shaped Card

Hello everyone... it's Lori with got2bcrafting.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and a very Happy Easter.

Today I am sharing a cute little card I made using the Slumber Party Lite cartridge and, of course, one of Joy's fabulous stamps!!  This fun stamp came from one of my favorite sets... Lots of Pun.  I have used it quite a bit lately; it is just sooo versatile! :)

Hello Chickie Easter Treat Boxes

Hello, everyone!  Patty here from Crafty Kitten.

This week for Joy's Life, we are creating Spring or Easter projects.  I used my Cameo to make  some treat boxes that hold jelly beans to give to my family on Sunday.

Here's a closeup of one of the boxes. The patterned paper comes from JPEG files that can be imported into your Cameo. 

 

The stamped saying comes from the Lots Of Puns set.

HOPpy Easter pillow box

Hello my crafty friends... it's Lori at got2bcrafting!  Today I want to share a cute pillow box I made to put some fun Easter treats in.  This is actually quite big, so it will fit quite a bit of treats. (I made the box using the fit to page feature on a 12x12 sheet of paper)  I combined two stamps from two different sets of Joy's stamps to make my sentiment.  The "Hoppy" came from Lots of Pun using the Hoppy Birthday stamp. (I just masked off the birthday) and the "Easter" is from the Holiday Occasions stamp set.

All Occasion Cards

Hi! Patty here from The Crafty Kitten. I'm excited today because

this is the first day that I post as a DT member for Joy's Life!

Our first week's project is to do whatever we wanted to do!

I made a set of all occasion cards using Cricut's Create A Critter

cartridge and stamps from Joy's Lots Of Pun set.

Hey Chickie! Cricut card

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Lori from got2bcrafting !  Today is my first day posting as a member of Joy's Life Design Team.  I am so SUPER excited to be a part of this amazing team and I am looking forward to sharing some fun projects with you over the next 3 months.  I absolutely adore Joy, and her stamps are awesome!! For our first project, it was anything goes.  I have been wanting to use the "Hey Chickie" stamp from the Lots of Pun stamps for a while now, so this was the perfect opportunity.  :)  I put the little chickie on an action wobble... love those things! Let me know what you think!!
