thank you - Ombre card

Hello crafters,

it's Lori with got2bcrafting!

Happy, Happy Saturday!

This week the DT has been sharing Ombre style cards.  What is Ombre?? Ombre is the gradual change in a shade of color from light to dark or vise versa.

And here is my creation:

 The sentiment is from the Tag You're It - Set One.

I altered a file I found at the Silhouette online store to make my card.

The ombre effect was created with some paint chip samples I had on hand from when my daughter was picking colors to paint her room. :)

A Little Something Yummy~Teacher's Gift

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week the DT is making projects for back-to-school! I have a freshman in college & a sophomore in HS so I don't usually make Back-to-School gifts anymore but this year I have a new member of our family to make for...my brother is engaged & his fiancee has a 7 yr old daughter! So this is what I made for her to give to her teacher! I'm so glad to have a "little one" to share my crafts with again! 

  A few years ago, a friend of mine gave me a big box full of these plastic apples! These are so easy to decorate and spiffy up to make a cute, quick gift for any teacher! 

 And here it is filled up with Hershey Hugs!  

I used "A Little Something Yummy" from Tag You're It One & "For My Teacher" from All Around Sentiments.

It's zucchini season in our neck of the woods,

which means baking zucchini bread!

We enjoy sharing it with family and friends

and they very much enjoy eating it!!

So this year my daughter & I decided to

Project Life Card Holder

Hello everyone! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps and this week we are showcasing Home Decor projects. I decided to make a "magazine holder" for my project life cards to not only decorate my scrap area, but to help me organize. Thanks A Bunch

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week the DT has a free week so I made a Thank You card using "Thanks a Bunch" from That Tastes Punny! Since most of the time when someone sees this phrase, you think of grapes or bananas, I thought I would go a little different & and think more of flowers...

  

And here is a close-up of the fantastic stamp! 

I stamped my sentiment all over a white flower, then inked it to match my card! I also used the little heart from Joy's set Tag You're It ONE (I love this little heart! If I was to ever get a tattoo, I would do this heart!)  :)

Tag Set

This set of tags was created with the Tag You're It ONE and TWO sets. 

 I used the image stamps with watermark ink to create background images and then stamped the sentiments over top with nice thick pigment ink.

Hiya! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps. First of all, I want to say WOW!! Time has been zooming by! I cannot believe tomorrow will be March and pretty soon Spring will creep up on us! With that said, I decided to make a spring-themed Thank You card for one of my instagram friends.

Happy (birth) day card!

I wanted to use a slightly different sentiment for Joy's Birthday card. I chose this 'wishing you a bright and happy day' sentiment. It doesn't actually say birthday, but I think it's implied. Of course the card had to be bright and happy too!

I used the sentiment from Tag You're it ONE. The larger circles were created with the BACK of the bloom and grow sentiment from Tag You're it TWO.

Where's the remote?

Debbie from Bugjuiced sharing another really cute project with you all. I used the stamp set "Tag Your It One" and as soon as I read the stamp I was going to use I thought immediately about the retro style tv! I love retro things and so this was an easy one for me to plan.

Now on the left side here you can see the cuts were so small I didn't get all the little squares out but I took my scissors and went over it and lots popped out but I liked the way it looked leaving it all roughed up because it looks like that old fabric that would get frayed and was scratchy that was on those old tv, speakers etc. (I am so showing my age here) So I didn't redo it. 

The sentiment was Perfect for this!! I like the colors too because they are the colors you would see back in those days! 

I purchased the retro tv on silhouettes website. I broke it apart and then I sliced off the antenna and then duplicated and welded the the remainder to create the base. Then I did another layer that had the antenna hooked it it. Used the piece I sliced off the top to cut another set of antenna's for the gray layer. It really was simple to do it all. 

Its nice that you can manipulate these files and then end up creating so much more with them!! I am loving this cameo!

love always - glassine bags

Hello everyone!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps! This week we are making projects using new products or supplies that we have had in our stash collecting dust lol   

 My sister is planning on giving Hello Kitty pens and lead pencils to her friends for Valentine's Day and asked for help creating packaging for them. I thought this was the perfect time to use these tiny glassine bags I got a LONG time ago and had yet to use them. 

I made two bags to show you how easy it is to decorate them with Joy's stamps. 

I stamped onto the bag on the left directly. The "love always" and heart stamp on the left bag are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set.  

This picture below is also of the bag I stamped directly on, I just added a white piece of paper inside to make the stamp stand out more. 

For the second bag, I stamped everything onto a white piece of paper and then glued it to the bag. "love always" and the heart with flourish are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set. The heart in the center surrounded by hearts is from Joy's Life Lots of Pun stamp set.

My Insta Summer

TGIF everyone!  Sarabeth from Chronicles of Sarita here and it's my turn to share the Swatch Tag Mini I created!  I must say that although in the beginning this was quite a challenge-I just love love LOVE the way it turned out and I have plans for many, many more of these to be done in the near future!  I created a mini using all of my summer pics taken via Instagram and used only the paint swatches I picked up from our local Lowe's.  Take a peek:

A Gift Espressly For You

Hi!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap.

This week we are in a giving mood 

so we are making gift related projects!!

The Image and the sentiment are from

 the Tag You're It Set Number One.

I did this for my mom. She loves coffee and everyone says she makes the best coffee. I don't drink coffee but I found her some coffee samples that I know she would love. 

However you can also use it as a gift card holder. 

On the inside I made little pockets like a folder where you can put the gift card and, tea or coffee samples.

I just decorated a little with some washi tape and Ta-Da!!

Sweets for the Sweet Tin

Hello everybody! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps. This week we are using these cool tins! They can be used to hold anything from candy to crafty supplies like buttons and even to store mementos! I used mine to hold some sweet treats.
