Best Witches

Hello, Joy's Life friends.  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.

It's a scary week this week with the Joy's Life design team.  We're creating witches, ghosts, and monsters.  Yeah, we're in full Halloween mode!
I found an adorable witches hat card I wanted to try, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.  What do you think?

The sentiment is from the Joy's Life "Halloween Puns" stamp set. I cut the hat out on my Silhouette.
I hope you enjoyed today's "scary" creation! To find out more about this card, and see what else I've been creating, please visit my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.

Birthday Wishes!

Yesterday, I found out that it was my lunch friend and neighbor's birthday.
Only...it isn't as special as she might want it to be.

So...I made this bat card...using Joy's Life: Halloween Puns.
I love the colored bats and white sentiment against the black background.

I sprinkled some white embossing powder on the card base for some extra interest.
I know that some would stick when I embossed the "fangtastic" sentiment.
So...I just "went with it" and added more splatter before embossing!
A crafty friend gave me a white sharpie marker....which I used for the fangs.
What a great new (to me) product!
I can just imagine tons of uses for this opaque marker!

Thanks for check out out my card today!

Boo!

Happy Monday, my friends.  Julie here, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. The theme this week for the Joy's Life design team is Halloween bags.  I found an adorable one at My Scrap Chick that I decided worked wonderfully with the adorable Joy's Life Halloween Puns stamp set.

Scary, isn't it, LOL? I thought this was the sweetest ghost I'd ever seen with those rosy cheeks and top knot. I cut it out on my Silhouette, using Whisper gray card stock.
The Halloween Puns stamp set and all of the Joy's Life sets can be found in the Joy's Life store.

Don't forget to check out the Joy's Life design team  projects all week to see more Halloween bag inspiration. And, I always love visitors to my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.

Too Cute To Spook

Hello, crafty friends, Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with a scrapbook page to share with you. It's been a few months since I've found time to make a layout, so I enjoyed this assignment very much!
Golden Retrievers are wonderfully docile dogs, and my Sophie is no exception.  I dressed her up until she felt silly and went on a Halloween photo shoot for this layout.  What do you think? Is she too cute to spook?

Joy's Life "Halloween Puns" stamp set was used throughout this layout.

You can find it, and all Joy's wonderful stamps in her STORE.
I can't wait to make some more Halloween projects with this set!
For more details about this layout, please visit my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.
I hope you enjoyed my Silly Sophie and her Spooky Halloween outfit.  She's ready for the holiday.  Are you?
