Breakfast time!!

In our home, birthdays mean breakfast in bed
with a small tray present.

So, I thought I'd make a breakfast in bed card!

Oh...another family tradition is the red plate tradition.
We have a special set of red plates. A single set.
So if it is your birthday,
or you had a big accomplishment or award,
you get to eat off the "red plate!"
That should make the card  more understandable!

Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope your day is eggcellent too!

I'm Nuts about YOU!

Hello, crafty friends.  Julie here again from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers posting twice this week. We had an empty day, so I'm filling in.  The design team theme this week is "yum, yum, yum."
I love to make treat bags and boxes, so I fired up the Silhouette, and made a quick little treat bag, perfect for Fall:

I used the Joy's Life stamp set "That Tastes Punny" on this treat bag.  I thought it was the perfect sentiment for this die cut acorn.

To learn more details about this project, and to see what else I've been working on, please visit my blog.
I hope you enjoyed today's yummy treat bag.  I had a great time making it!

"Hey, Sugar"

Hello, and Happy Saturday, my friends.  Julie here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with some "Sweet" inspiration for you.
The design team theme all week has been "Sweet!" -- certainly a theme many of us can get excited about!
I made this shaped card:

I cut out this canning jar pattern on my Silhouette, used the super cute Joy's Life set, "That Tastes Punny".

I hope you enjoyed the week of "sweet" projects that the Joy's Life design team brought your way.  Come back next week for more great inspiration!

Lunch Notes

I had so much fun creating a pile of lunch notes for my kids yesterday! Over the next month, schools are calling classes to order. I enjoy tucking notes and cards into my kids' lunches from time to time.
With the many sentiments from Joy's Life, you can make their day a little brighter!

I also thought it might be fun to use up my dwindling stash of stickers.  Yes, Stickers.  Gasp. I know...evil stickers! lol. But...I think you will really like how these turned out!

I picked these darling hoot owls from Colorbok over a year ago.
Perfect for school stuff...or to decorate the keyboard area of my laptop!
LOL

I made 3 of each...with slight variation...as I have 3 kids!

It was so fun to use paper from a memo pad to create this
cheerful note! Simple adhere it together using Ultra Thin Glue Dots ®.

This one is extra special b/c I only had stickers enough for one card.
I guess I *DO* need to add to my sticker collection!

Every kid has a sweet tooth...right?

And, I don't think they will mind being called "Sugar"
if there was a piece of candy tucked in with this note!

Inspire that student of yours...

All of these note cards measure 3.5 x 2.5 when finished.  Simply cut your paper: 5 x 3.5 inches...and fold in half!  Dig through your stash of stickers...add your favorite embellies.
Top it all off with sensational sentiments from Joy's Life.
Here I have used words from:

Feel free to stop by my blog, Sunnyside Up, for more Joy's Life Creations!

You're a Bar-b-cutie!

Happy Saturday, Joy's Life fans! Julie here from Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers. Can you believe we're past the middle of July already?  We've been having a picnic theme all week with the design team, and hopefully you've had a chance to have a picnic of your own.
I made a clean and simple card for my post today, using the Joy's Life  "That Tastes Punny" stamp set.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the image on this card.

I hope you enjoyed our week of picnic projects.  Join us this  coming week for 3D flowers, and next Saturday, July 27th for a Summer in 3D blog hop with the entire talented Joy's Life team!
