More New Cricut Cartridges - Garden Soup & Divine Wedding

Yesterday I told you about the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 cartridge that I had just seen while looking around in the shopping area of Cricut.com. I heart shopping for craft things, browsing for craft things and thinking about craft things. Maybe today I'll get a chance to USE some craft things! LOL!
Here's another new cartridge: Garden Soup.  I'll have this along with TBB&M2 and the other new one added to the My Cartridge Checklist APP soon. :)
You can also find a similar looking bee and beehive on the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge.
Here's a link to the digital handbook for this cartridge. This is only sold by Creative Memories.
Here's a link to the TBB&M2 post which includes info on the new score blade too.
Have a crafty day!

New Cricut Cartridge & Scoring Blade

If you got my newsletter yesterday, then you saw the newest Cricut cartridge and scoring blade.  I just found out about it while searching around on the Cricut site.  I don't know how I missed it sooner but I ordered it right away.  It's a new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More!  It's TBBM2.
Here's what it looks like and what it makes:

 Here's the new Scoring Blade:
Pretty cool!  It's supposed to work in conjunction with the TBB&M2 cartridge but I'm sure you can use it for tons of things.  I've used the one by Cri-Kit's before.  You can see that on this post.

Joy's Life Newsletter subscribers read about this in yesterday's Newsletter.  Would you like to be part of the Newsletter?  Just go to the Joy's Life.com main page and sign up on the left hand side of the page where you see SuperJoy reading the paper.

Have a crafty day!
P.S.  I'll have the new TBB&M2 added to the Cricut Cartridge Checklist and the My Cartridge Checklist APP this week.

Joy's Life Newsletter TODAY

Hey Everybody!  Did you survive Valentine's Day?  I hope it was a happy one without so much preparation that you were too tired to enjoy it.  A salute to those of you who had to make Valentine's Day shoe boxes for your children, those of you who baked, bought and otherwise supplied parties with ton o' themed items.  Let's not forget the hours/days/weeks that went into creating one or many cute, thoughtful and/or perfect Valentine's cards.  It's great once you see it come together but what work!  Pat yourselves on the back, pour yourself a cup of coffee/tea/soda and do something just for you for a little while.  I know you deserve it!

THE SUPER JOY TRIBUNE NEWSLETTER....

Today the Joy's Life Newsletter comes out.  Woo hoo!  I try to do it weekly but that doesn't always happen.  I can promise that I will not pepper your inbox with tons of newsletters.  If you're not currently receiving the Newsletter and would like to, you can sign up on the LEFT hand side of Joy's Life.com where you see Super Joy reading the newspaper (as seen above).

Have a Happy Day!!
(After I write the Newsletter, I'm going to get my craft on!  WOO HOO!)

Valentine's Day XO Card with Gypsy

Here's a fun card I made for Valentine's Day using the Smiley Cards cartridge that was an exclusive Gypsy download.  I'm sure you can find an X&O on tons of cartridges so you don't have to have that one for this!  I used my Gypsy to weld the letters together and to create this fun card.  I love pink & green together.  I was pretty amazed with myself creating a Valentine's Day card that didn't use red! LOL!

Want to learn more about this card?  There's more information on this post.

Need help with your Gypsy?  Check out these Gypsy videos.  (Once there, go back a few pages for the tutorials.)

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!! XOXO!!

Sympathy Card

Gosh, I hate to be depressing but at some time we all do need a sympathy card.  I noticed a lot of comments on the posts below stating that people would like to see more sympathy card ideas.  They are always so hard to make, aren't they?  Your heart just aches for the person's loss and it seems that no words are sufficient.  Having lost my father, I can tell you that "I'm sorry", "thinking of you", "You're in our thoughts and prayers", things like that are just fine.  It's just important that you let the person who is suffering a loss know that you are thinking of them.  The worst thing to do and I'm guilty of it myself, is to not send a card because you've spent forever trying to come up with the perfect words.  Send the card!  I need to go make one ...and it's late...so I know what I'm talking about. Bad me!  Don't be like me...send the card!

Here's a card I made a few years ago using the Cricut Lyrical Letters cartridge.

If you'd like to read more about the card ... click here
I'll be working on another sympathy card soon using my Silhouette Cameo.  I'll update this post with a link to that creation as soon as I have it ready.

OK...ENOUGH SADNESS!  DID YOU SEE THE GIVE AWAY?  Well, go leave a comment HERE to be eligible for a cool ribbon storage prize.

AND THE WINNER IS...

NecieBearFeb 6, 2012 08:07 AM WOW! This is just what I need to get my messy ribbon box in order. I tried one of those ribbon boxes that is suppose to keep your ribbon organized, but it looked like your box except it had slots for the ribbon to come out and it was plastic. Not impressed with that one. Thanks for sharing with us Joy!

Lots of Pun Stamps GIVE AWAY

Hi Friends!  While we're waiting for the new Design Team to get started in March I thought I'd provide a few posts myself. ;)  Be sure to check the end of this post for a GIVE AWAY!
Woo hoo!

More information about this project is on this post.

These are pillow boxes and a little faux milk carton that I created using Sizzix dies.  All the sentiments are from my Lots of Pun stamp set.  You can find Lots of Pun and more stamps on the Joy's Life Products Page.

More information about this project can be found here.

I used the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge to make this "PAWSitively PURRfect" cat.  It's my cat "Domino".  He's my furry little buddy.  This sentiment is also from my Lots of Pun stamp set.
