Caught a Bug?

Cheer up any friend who is ailing with a punny, sunny, happy card using Joy's Life Stamps
and a bit of creativity!

Create 3 scallop circles with your dies, electric die cutter, or punches.
Use an unused pencil eraser to stamp and emboss the black dots.
Fold in half...layer/adhere together.
This bug easily lies flat for an envelope.

Add a black card stock circle for this lady's head.

A few rhinestones accent the sentiment from Joy's Life: Punny Animals set.
I used some patterned papers to my advantage!  Don't you love the swirl of flight?

Enjoy your day!

This week the DT is sharing projects with dimension.

I cut the little lamb (ewe) several times to create a chipboard like dimension, then added some foam tape:
I had these fun, sparkly Twinkle Goosebumps that I added to her hat:
And finally, I added a button with twine:

So Happy to Bee Here!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday.  This is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with my first Joy's Life design team post.  I am super excited to be here!
Our theme this week is dimension -- how fun!  There are many ways to add dimension to a project.  I used several here:

See? Lots of dimension.  There's chipboard to look like honeycomb  for that cute bee. The bee is given more of a 3D effect with foam dots. More dimension was added with Stickles on the antennas, cheeks, and wings, and placing the bee on the kraft tag gave even more dimension.
Here's a close up of the Joy's Life Stamp and the bee so you can see how great they work together.

This sentiment is from the Joy's Life Punny Animals stamp set. There are so many fun puns on this set!
Please visit my blog for a complete supply list of products used.
Thanks for taking time to view my project, and I am truly honored to "bee" here.

Easy dimensional kid's card

Today I have a super easy card for you with fun dimensional elements!

I used the sentiment from the My Hero set. The paperclips were already colored, I just bent them into triangles and glued them onto the card with some glossy accents (or maybe it was fabritac). It's simple, but I love how the paper clips look a little like the chevron/arrow trend, and bring in primary colors relating to a kid (or a superhero).

For more information, check out my blog.

Lifesaver Pillow Box Package

Hello Craft Friends!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards to share my very first DT Project!  I'm so excited to be a part of this team!!

This week we are focusing on "Projects Using Dimension"!

I decided to create a 3D Project using a Clear Pillow Box!
I added some lifesaver candies inside the package!! :)

I thought this was such a fun idea!

I simply used two circles on my Cricut to create the "lifesaver" shape.  I then slightly bent and stamped the "You're a lifesaver" sentiment, from the That Tastes Punny set, with VersaMark Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder....to give it that lifesaver candy look!
A simple, yet fun package!!  Yummy!

You can check out my post here!

Have a wonderful day!!

Flip Flop Home Decor

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday!
It's Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner
and I am so happy to be back on the Joy's Life Design Team!

Today I get to show you a home decor item that I made using those awesome Joy's Life Stamps!
I decided that I wanted to create something for my front porch so I enlisted the help of my hubby.

He was able to cut a flip flop shape for me out of some scrap wood so that I could decorate it.

I simply painted my flip flop base with some acrylic paints and then glued the two pieces together with some wood glue.
I found a cute little wood dragonfly and flower at my craft store and painted them and attached them onto the flip flop with more wood glue.
This is what it looks like after it has been painted and assembled:

I added some stickles to give my dragonfly and flower a little sparkle. This is hanging up on my front porch that stays shaded all summer.

For the center of my flower, I stamped "ENJOY THE SUMMER" which can be found in the
Pun In The Sun Stamp Set

I think that sentiment finished off my flip flop perfectly and it stamped so easily onto my wood flower.

Pun In The Sun is perfect for all your summer crafting needs :)

Altered Wooden Frame

Hey there, Staci from Precious Memories here with my
 Home Decor project
and my last post on the DT... It was a fun time and I want to thank Joy for all her love and patients she gives her DT :)
This was a tough one for me... I didn't have a clue what to make I almost asked Joy for a pass on this weeks project until my kids and I were in Michael's and we found these unfinished wooden frames for a $1.00 and then a light bulb went on.
I used Joy's "Everyday Occasions" stamp set.
If you'd like, you can check out my blog for more details.
Thanks for visiting!

Good Morning Greetings!

Good Morning, Crafters!
A happy greeting will start your day off on the right foot and put a smile on your face.
I decided to create a decoration for a bedroom door using stamp sentiments from Joy's Life!

The "Hello, Sunshine" sentiment can be found

The base is a light weight "Shape" from Hip in a Hurry.
I measured and cut out glitter paper to fit the shape.
Before gluing down layers, I sponged each paper...
to eliminate that white edge  of the cut papers.
Glue Dots © are a quick and clean way
to glue down embellishments.

Add a ribbon around the back....and a bow at the top!
A greeting like this might
get your teenager off to a better start.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Project Life Card Holder

Hello everyone! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps and this week we are showcasing Home Decor projects. I decided to make a "magazine holder" for my project life cards to not only decorate my scrap area, but to help me organize. I can't say this enough... the silhouette cameo is incredibly easy to use and Joy's Life stamps compliment most cuts!

The sentiment on this holder is from the Tag You're It One stamp set.

This sentiment is from the Tag You're It Two stamp set.
