Watemelon Thank You Cards

Hello, everyone!  It's Patty here from the Crafty Kitten. This week, Joy's Design Team, are featuring two of her super cute stamp sets : Yummy Puns and Popsicle Puns.

I can always use thank you notes and never have them around when I need them.  I created these simple cards that can be mass produced if need be.

I really like how they came out even though the design is simplistic.

I used Yummy Puns for this project.  Joy just got a bunch back in stock so you can get your own set here.

That's all I have for you today.  Stop by my blog if you'd like to see the details on how I made these.  You'll have a bunch of your own made in no time!

Have a great day!

We stick together card

I, Megan, wanted to do something different with the Sweet Popsicle Puns set for this week. I chose to interpret the pun here a little differently. I know it's supposed to mean popsicle stick, but it could also mean glue stick, right?

I kept this card simple (as you probably know by now, I am wont to do). I just used some cardstock, some pumpkin clearsnap dye ink, and this little die cut which I pulled off of a layered Imaginisce sticker.

Thanks for stopping by! For more details, check out my blog.

One of a Kind Card

Hello and Happy Monday.
I am here with my last post for July and we have been using a couple of different stamp sets.
I choose to use Sweet Popsicle Puns.

When I first got this set, I was so excited.  I mean could this set be any cuter?
For this card, I started my taking 2 of the Popsicle stamps and stamped them in 2 different colors. You can see the idea was to have 3 identical and 1 different than the other 3.

Then I embossed the phrase "you're one of a kind" in black and ruffled some crepe paper behind the mounted phrase to make the phrase really stand out.

A couple of of special embellishments here and there really make this card really extra special.

I love the whimsical polka dots and color scheme, don't you??

Well, are you ready for the new week and the new month?  Brace yourself, both are upon us!!
This has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana with today's Joy's Life.com post.

Sweet Summer Time Wishes!

Hello crafters, Nina Here!

Joy is known for her puns, do you know that she has some sets with cute images too? I used the popsicles from the Sweet Popsicle Puns. There is a blank solid base for the popsicles, you can use whatever color combination you like to decorate it.

I used a glue pad and added glitter!

Popping by to say Hi!

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week we are using the Yummy Puns and/or Sweet Popsicle Puns...I chose to use "Popping by to say Hi!!" from Yummy Puns! And of course I had to do something with popcorn! Yum!! :)

My kids love making the Jiffy Pop popcorn on the stove...you remember those? The foil puffs up and when it's done you break open the foil puffball and enjoy! SO I thought I would decorate one to give as a cute little gift to someone special!

Everytime I think about this Jiffy Pop, I think of "the good ole days" so I used some "old timey" paper and red accents! Love the black/white/red combo!

Here is a pic of the super amazing stamp :)

Berry Best Wishes

Hello everyone... it's Lori with got2bcrafting!  I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend!
This week the DT is showcasing projects using  either Yummy Puns or Popscicle Puns.
Now, I am usually a more "cutesy" or "whimsical" kind of person, but every once in awhile I get an idea that is a little more, I don't know... maybe traditional??   Anyway, I saw this cute strawberry image and thought it would go very well with Joy's Berry Best Wishes sentiment stamp from the Yummy Puns set.

Here is a closer look at the stamp:

I just love the different fonts Joy used for this stamp, don't you?
You can find this stamp set, along with all the other awesome sets right here at the Joy's Life Product's page.

If you would like more information about my project today, please come visit me at my blog.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Please come back tomorrow to see what some of the other DT members will be sharing. :)

the sets Yummy Puns and Popsicle Puns which are

The sentiment is from the Yummy Puns Stamp Set
I stamped it in red first but it kind of got lost in

you're one of a kind

Hey everyone! It's Ashley here with a scrapbook page this week.

I chose a stamp from Sweet Popsicle Puns that goes perfectly with a funny story. I wanted to scrapbook a quote our six year old nephew said while we were on vacation last month. He's so funny & he doesn't even try to be.

The "you're one of a kind" stamp can be used in a variety of ways. I was thinking a little outside of the box on this one.

For more details about this layout, you can stop by my blog.

Thanks!

Flower Tin

Hello, all!  It's me, Patty, from the Crafty Kitten with a new project for you!  As you can tell from earlier DT posts this week, we are featuring super fun tins.

This mini paint can tin is super cute!  It's about 2.25" tall and 2.5" wide.  Just enough big to put something little & special in it!

I love this stamp!  It's from Joy's Tag You're It - Set Two that she released earlier this year.  If you want to, you can grab the tins and rubber stamp set here

Well, that's all for me today!  I hope you enjoyed my simple project.  Please stop by my blog if you'd like more details on how I made it.  Have a great day!

Bloom and Grow Tin

This week Joy asked us to work with some of the tins she carries. I, Megan, wanted to use this cute tiny one and wondered what would fit inside it. I came up with this cute set for a Mother's Day or thank you parent or teacher gift. The tin holds seeds!
I used the Tag You're It TWO set along with my cricut cartridge 'walk in the garden'.
For more details on this card, check out my blog.

Hello Sunshine!

Morning crafters, Nina here.

Today I am sharing a little project I made with the 1oz round metal tin with screw top lid from Joy's store.

An 1-3/4" circle fits right on the top of the tin. "Hello Sunshine" sentiment from "Pun in the Sun" set. I used a little heart on my finished project but the cloud looks kinda cute too!  What do you think? :)

You can get the tins and the stamps here! Visit my blog here! Happy Crafting!

Sweets for a Friend

I am excited to share what I have come up with for today's post.  We are focusing on creative ways to use the Tins that you can find in the Joy's Life Products.

As you can see I have created this adorable little tin using some stamps from the YUMMY PUNS set.

This in the perfect gift for a friend since hidden inside you will find, chocolate!

One of my favorite things to do with my projects is to embellish with jewelry making supplies.

The baubles and beads where the perfect touch to this tin of chocolate covered pretzels, don't you agree?

I already know who this is going to...A special friend will get a surprise delivery from me, hoping that I find her home that is!!
This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana with today's post.

Hoppy Birthday!

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week we are using some fantastic tins that Joy sells HERE! This week I am using "Hoppy Birthday" from Lots of Puns and the 4 oz. round metal paint can with lid.... BEFORE...
And AFTER!!

I filled the can with Gummy Frogs to match the Hoppy Birthday!! (Yum!!)

Here is a close-up of the fantastic stamp! :)

Had a Ruff Day?? Altered Tin box

Hello everyone... it's Lori with got2bcrafting!
I am so excited to share my project with you this week.
The DT was asked to create a project using one of the awesome tins that Joy is now selling.  I must admit, I wasn't really sure what I was going to do at first, but then I saw this cute little stamp and knew the perfect use for this tin.

Do you know what is inside???
What do you sometimes need for those "Ruff" kind of days??  Well, I sometimes get a bit of a headache and need to take an Ibuprophen. I thought this would be a great way to store some in my purse!!!

What do you think?  Kind of fun right?  :)
You know what else is fun?  This stamp is not actually curved, but it was super easy to bend to fit inside the circle perfectly!

You can find this awesome tin, as well as the cute little stamp from the You're So Punny stamp set,  right here on Joy's products page.

If you would like to see more information about my project today, please come over and visit me at my blog.
