This was such a fun card to create.  

I used Joy's You're So Punny stamp set 

and my Cricut with a Cri-Kits pen.

If masculine cards are not your strong

suit, this is a super easy design to duplicate!

Then I attached an embossed negative cut heart layer over it. 

too fun!

Of course there was the perfect sentiment in the

to compliment my design!

These pens are so cool! Anything you can cut out of your die- cutting machine, you can now draw with these great gel pens!

I drew out my fish and then cut them out by hand for my card.

A Neon Thank You!

Happy Birthday Cri-Kits card

This is Megan again, with a fun faux stamped card using the cri-kits pens. There are just so many things that you can do with these! I decided to go for a stamped look. I used my gypsy to design the card front. I drew the frame in pink metallic on one layer and the leaves and border in purple metallic on another layer in the project. 

After the designs were drawn, I colored them in with some clearsnap smooch inks which have a tiny applicator for detail work, but add some subtle glimmer to match the metallic pen lines. 

I added the Happy Birthday stamp from the everyday occasions set and a few fun details.

You're One of A Kind Sketched Card

Hello crafters! Nina here again with another card made with Cri-kits pen holder and pens using Silhouette Cameo.

Joy's sentiment "you're one of a kind" from Sweet Popsicle Puns fits perfectly for my typewriter theme. I used the black glitter pen to sketch out the Typewriter Sketch. I just added some color and glassy accents to the keys to finish the card off. Easy and fun!

Bon Voyage, Shore Will Miss You...Card

Hello Everyone!

It is me Jeannie with a very Fun card today.

We are all putting our CRI-KITS to good use this week.  

I am using pens from the Reg. Neon set.

I am using a design from my Art Philosophy cartridge with my pens.

I am using the stamp set called Pun in the Sun from Joy's Life.

The little boat is from the Cricut Cartridge Life is a Beach.

This is the inside of the card.  I have also used dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and My Favorite Things.

Here is a close up of the area where the CRI-KITS pen was used.  It really does make a gorgeous background for this card.

I Believe in You - Cri Kit Gel Pens

Hello everyone....it's Lori with got2bcrafting!  I hope you have been having a great week so far. :)

This week the DT is showcasing projects using  Cri-Kits Gel Pens.  These pens are super easy and super fun to use.  The best part is, no image is too intricate to draw, unlike cutting images can be at times.   I used the Cri-Kits Black Glitter Gel Pen on today's card, and I really like how it turned out.

Can you see the glitter from the pen??  It's really pretty in person.

I am actually drawing on vellum for this project.

I chose a beautiful stamp from Joy's Mother and Daughter stamp set:

Isn't that font pretty??  I just love it!!

smash book page + cri-kits + joy's life stamps

Hi everyone! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps. This week we are showcasing projects using the Cri-Kits gel pens. Let me tell you, Cri-kits + Joy's stamps = Crafty Perfection! I had never used these pens before, but they are so much fun!! It reminded me once again of the amazing things the ol' Cricut can do :-) Today I have a page from my mini-smash book to show ya! 

The sentiment is from the You're So Punny stamp set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  

 

Now, here is where the Cri-Kits come into play. I used my Gypsy to cut and write "I ♥ you". It really gives it a totally different look. I would never be able to do this by hand!

Relax and Unwind with Cri-Kits!!

Hello!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap!!

This week we are having crazy fun with the Cri-Kits!!

For this card I made my own background using 

the Neon Pens and the Indie Art Cartridge.

I used a sentiment from the Halloween Puns Stamp Set. 

I made cassette slightly bigger and used the shadow feature

 to cut it out and then made another shadow a 

little bit bigger for the black shadow. 

Making a background like this can be time consuming.

Easter layout using Cri kits pens!

Sorry for the late post. I know I had one set up but I have no idea what happened to it!

My layout this week features the Cri-kit gel pens, which were really awesome to use. The package recommends you write with them a little bit before you use them to help prevent skipping. I didn't have any problems with skipping. 

There are so many colors to choose from! I used the pastel gel pens for the doily and the Easter eggs on this layout.

The stamp I used is from Yummy Puns. Here is a close up:

Don't look too closely at my cutting job but I used the pens to make the Easter eggs & then cut them out and decorated them.These are from the Easter 2010 Cricut cartridge.

Halloween Mini Cards

Hello everyone!  This is Amy, a.k.a. redheaded crafter!   This week we were asked to use Cri-Kits pens on our project.  I was excited and nervous to use them, because I had never done anything except cutting with my Cricut...  Let me tell ya, it is so much fun!  Anything you can cut, you can draw with your Cricut using these pens!  I was also excited to use Halloween Puns stamp set this week because I love Halloween!  I don't think it's too early to get a head start on your Halloween cards...  :)
