I decided to make a "magazine holder" for my project life cards to not only decorate my scrap area, but to help me organize. I can't say this enough... the silhouette cameo is incredibly easy to use and Joy's Life stamps compliment most cuts!

Hello everyone! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps. Today I am sharing some Project Life cards I made for a swap that I'm in through Instagram. I had been dying to use this stamp for Project Life cards and I finally did!

Gift card holders

Hello crafters... it's Lori with got2bcrafting!

Holy Moly, I can't believe it's  February already ! Does it seem like time is flying by, or is it just me?? I am sure many of you are ready for winter to be over tho! LOL!!

This week the DT is sharing projects about love, appreciation and affection. I, for one, love to receive gift cards, so I thought I'd share a couple of gift card holders I created.  I don't know about you, but I know A LOT of people who just love their coffee (myself included), and others who just love to shop. Of course, there are plenty who love both!!  I thought these would be a great way to show some love and appreciation!

love always - glassine bags

Hello everyone!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps! This week we are making projects using new products or supplies that we have had in our stash collecting dust lol   

 My sister is planning on giving Hello Kitty pens and lead pencils to her friends for Valentine's Day and asked for help creating packaging for them. I thought this was the perfect time to use these tiny glassine bags I got a LONG time ago and had yet to use them. 

I made two bags to show you how easy it is to decorate them with Joy's stamps. 

I stamped onto the bag on the left directly. The "love always" and heart stamp on the left bag are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set.  

This picture below is also of the bag I stamped directly on, I just added a white piece of paper inside to make the stamp stand out more. 

For the second bag, I stamped everything onto a white piece of paper and then glued it to the bag. "love always" and the heart with flourish are from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number 1 stamp set. The heart in the center surrounded by hearts is from Joy's Life Lots of Pun stamp set.

This is my last post as a Joy's Life design team member. Joy took me on her amazing team when I was a rookie. I was very lucky to be in such a talented, well-organized, friendly and supportive team. I enjoyed every one of my assignments and have grown so much during my two terms. It was a hard decision but I have decided to take a break. I will still be using Joy's stamps and maybe join the team for blog hops or things like that. Thank you Joy, for a fun and memorable design team experience. I appreciate it. I will miss you! A Gift Espressly For You

Hi!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap.

This week we are in a giving mood 

so we are making gift related projects!!

The Image and the sentiment are from

 the Tag You're It Set Number One.

I did this for my mom. She loves coffee and everyone says she makes the best coffee. I don't drink coffee but I found her some coffee samples that I know she would love. 

However you can also use it as a gift card holder. 

On the inside I made little pockets like a folder where you can put the gift card and, tea or coffee samples.

I just decorated a little with some washi tape and Ta-Da!!

K-cup gift box

This week we are focusing on 3D projects. Since my 'tags bags boxes and more' cricut cartridge has been getting a workout lately, I thought I would do something different. I, Megan, had this clear plastic box (packaging from some Prima flowers) in my 'things to alter' drawer. I found that it fit 6 K cups just about perfectly. (I had to put a little divider in the middle because the box was a little too tall and I wanted to be able to see the K cups at the top)

I used the Coffee Pot and cup image along with the 'Espressly for you' stamp from the Tag You're It ONE set.

Gift Card Tag Card

It's Megan again! This week I created a gift card holder card, where the gift card is attached to a removable tag. (a coupon card stands in for the gift card here)

When I read this stamp, I just thought that I wanted to attach it to a gift card to a STORE.

Tuning In Card

Hi!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap!!

This week we are playing with the new Tag You're IT Set and we are including tags.

I just bought this Notebook Doodles Imagine Cart and I LOVE it!! 

I LOVE music and the second I saw this sentiment I fell in LOVE with it!!

Bright and Happy Birthday card!

It's Megan, back again with a very bright and cheery birthday card. When I saw this stamp I knew I wanted to do something with masking, but I was a little afraid. I am fairly new to stamping and masking is something I haven't done a lot of. So, the first couple of times that I used this stamp, I just used it as is. Finally, I had to give it a try with the masking though. 

I am not going to lie and say this was an easy stamp to mask. The 'wishing you' part is kind of connected to the circle that I wanted to mask out. I stamped on a scrap paper, then carefully cut out the circle. For the black words, I inked the stamp in black and then rubbed as much of the ink as I could off of the circle with a tissue, before fitting the cut-out circle over it. I figured by putting the mask right on the stamp, I would have a better chance of getting perfect placement. The ink that was left on the circle made the scrap stick. Then I positioned the hole in the scrap paper over that stamp and re-stamped in bright pink.

The stamp is from the Tag You're It ONE set. 

It's not perfect, but I love the effect so I played it up with some teal and pink. See my blog for more details.
