Best Witches treat box

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. Not only is it fall and a fun holiday, but it's also my daughter's birthday. I chose this stamp because I like that it works for a birthday too - a halloween birthday!
I used a paper mache box and covered it in paper before stamping the sentiment and adhering my die cuts.
This stamp is from the Halloween Puns set

Candy Apple Pumpkin Color Challenge Card

Hello, all!  It's Patty from the Crafty Kitten.

If you've been following the posts this week on the Design Team blog, you've seen that we are doing a Pumpkin Picking Color challenge. (That is....green, brown, and orange.)

For some reason, I really struggled with this one.
I then broke out my brand new Create A Critter 2 cartridge and ran with it!

Isn't that candy apple fun? And the stamp is very versatile!

The saying comes from Joy's Halloween Puns set.

If you don't have you own, you can get it here in time for Halloween.

I'm really loving these stamps and my new cartridge!  (You'll be seeing more in my future posts, I believe!)

Please drop by my blog for details on how I made this fun card.  I hope you have a great day!

Eye Love This Color Combo!!

Hi!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap.
This week at Joy's Life we have a fall inspired color combo!!
We had to use brown, orange and green.
I'm still in Summer mode, fall hasn't fully download into my head
so I am almost uncapable to come up with fall projects.
This one is kinda Halloween-y.
For the shape I used the Sugar and Spice Cartridge
and I just hid the little half circles and joined the scalloped circles with a small square.

For the sentiment on his flag
I hope you enjoyed my monstrous card!!

Relax and Unwind with Cri-Kits!!

Hello!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap!!
This week we are having crazy fun with the Cri-Kits!!
For this card I made my own background using
the Neon Pens and the Indie Art Cartridge.

I used a sentiment from the Halloween Puns Stamp Set
I made cassette slightly bigger and used the shadow feature
to cut it out and then made another shadow a
little bit bigger for the black shadow.

Making a background like this can be time consuming.
If you would like the Gypsy File just leave me a comment with your email and I'll send it to you. :0)

Halloween Mini Cards

Hello everyone!  This is Amy, a.k.a. redheaded crafter!   This week we were asked to use Cri-Kits pens on our project.  I was excited and nervous to use them, because I had never done anything except cutting with my Cricut...  Let me tell ya, it is so much fun!  Anything you can cut, you can draw with your Cricut using these pens!  I was also excited to use Halloween Puns stamp set this week because I love Halloween!  I don't think it's too early to get a head start on your Halloween cards...  :)

See all of the Joy's Life stamp sets HERE!

For more details about my project I would love for you to visit me HERE!

Have a wonderful day!  :)

Fall is just around the corner...

and so is Halloween!  I know, I know...the kiddos are barely back in school again and i'm rushing things along.  At least it's not Holiday stuff, which by the way Michaels already has their displays up here in NY!  Any who, this week we get to play with an Oldie but a Goodie-here is my Halloween Card-Tags using the Halloween Puns set...my absolute favorite oldie of all the collections Joy's Life has shared so far!

Sweets for the Sweet Tin

Hello everybody! This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps. This week we are using these cool tins! They can be used to hold anything from candy to crafty supplies like buttons and even to store mementos! I used mine to hold some sweet treats.
"To:" and "From:" are from Tag You're It Set One. I added the hearts from Lots of Puns stamp set to add an accent.
This sentiment is from Halloween Puns! This set can be used year-round, not only for Halloween projects!
In case you didn't know, Joy not only carries awesome stamps, but she carries craft containers and other products! To view all of Joy's Products, click HERE

Sweet Treat Tin

Megan, here again. This time I have a fun little altered item project for you. I have been holding onto this tin that Joy sent us for a while, waiting for just the right project. I thought these bright fun colors of this challenge would be perfect for a little gift.

This cute little mini paint can would be perfect filled with M&Ms or some other candy.

I used the "Sweets for the Sweet" stamp from the Halloween Puns set. Isn't that fun, how this Halloween sentiment can be used for something very much un-Halloween? For more details on this project, check out my blog.

Relax and Unwind

Hi Super Followers!! This is Jennie from Earthy Scrap.
This week we are decorating some amazing CD Cases
that are available at the Joy's Life Store!!
Do you think kids still exchange Mix CDs
(what some of us remind as Mix Tapes)??
How cool was it right??
That is why I quickly thought about this cassette cut from Indie Art.
I also used my Imagine Cartridge Industrial Glow
which I didn't really care for until I made this project!! Now I can't wait to try it again!!
To add another touch of throwback I used my Spirograph
with some buttons and Trendy Twine.

One thing that I LOVE about Joy's Life stamps is that Holiday sets can also be used all year like this "Relax and Unwind" Stamp that you can find in the Halloween Puns Stamp Set.

Just in case you are curious about how they look without the embellishments...
Here's a look!!

Well I hope I inspired you to give these CD Cases a try, they are really a bomb!!

Sweet Tubes work for lots of holidays!

This week Joy asked us to work with these adorable tubes! Since I had all of my Christmas stuff out anyway, I decided to make a little Christmas themed gift set.

I often save the packaging from my scrapbook supplies, so I have a lot of these clear plastic boxes sitting around (this one is from some Webster's Pages pins). You could make this out of cardstock, but I think it's more sturdy since it's made out of a plastic box that I covered with paper. I used a punch to punch the circles for the tubes.
Here is a detailed shot of the stamp, which is actually from the Halloween Puns Stamp set.

The label die cut is from the Lacy Labels Cricut cartridge. I just covered up the bird that was at the bottom of the leaf circle, with some holly leaves that I cut by hand and a couple of jewels.
I used Staz-On ink, but only inked it lightly so that it worked with the distressed papers. Check out more details on my blog.

Howl Are You?

Hello friends of Joy's Life!!!!!  Sarabeth here today with a fun little card.  The design team has been challenged to create an animal themed project.  I created a card using the "Howl Are You?" stamp from Halloween Puns Stamp Set.  I created that cute little pup using the Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge (Sunshine Dog) :)

Speaking of Cricut Cartridges, did you download the My Cricut Cartridge Checklist app for the Android?  You can keep up with your cartridges on the go!  Click HERE to see what it's all about if you haven't yet!

Halloween Double Slider card

Megan here again with my 'moving card'. I admit that I was really scared when given this challenge, but Im pretty happy with how this turned out. I kept the front pretty simple.
Then I added my sentiments to the inside. This is a double slider card, so when you pull on the orange tab, both panels pop out. Since it's kind of shocking that another panel comes out, I thought adding a ghost saying 'boo' was appropriate.
The stamps are from the Halloween Puns stamps. I embossed both of the sentiments with black embossing powder to make them pop a little bit more. You can check out more details on my blog.
